TNA iMPACT review: Sting bests Styles for Team Cage win

Shredder88Tonight’s show kicks off with Booker T and Robert Roode in a beat down all across the Impact Zone until they finally enter the ring. Thats when Peyton Banks and Traci Brooks get there hits in as well. This is the lead in for a match chosen by the fans with the choices being a “first blood match”,”I quit match” and a “last man standing match” This battle will continue up until Lockdown on April 13th a good preview of what will come on that pay per view. The match itself was a first blood match and this one was back and forth until Robert Roode brought a chair in to even the odds and ends up getting a self inflicting wound and blood spills giving Booker T the win. A good match

COPYRIGHT WrestlersRamblings.com Used with permission of WrestleFanFest.com TNA wrestler Brother Ray The X-Scape Qualifying match was between Johnny Devine and Alex Shelley of the Motor City Machine Guns. This one was more of a filler to me as the match was not much to see a lot of high flying action as the X Division has. Johnny Devine gets a the win via a shot from a camera to Shelley win by crook as usual.
Also in action was Big Pappa Pump Scott Steiner and Maple Leaf Muscle Petey Williams with Rhaka Khan against LAX Homicide and Hernandez with Salinas. This one was one to watch as Rhaka Khan is so intimidating standing tall and kicking but. I am in favor of this team. However LAX is just too strong as a team right now that they got the victory and deserved it as they are up for a title shot.

TNA Champion Kurt Angle has his weekly Training Session like him or hate him he is trying to impress but, once a jerk always a jerk is more his style. Tonight was no exception as he told both AJ Styles and Tomko that he expected their best or he would beat on them. AJ Styles needs to show something as he still comes off as a wimp and scared of his shadow. During the match Tomko earned some respect from Kurt Angle as a punch landed and opened up Tomko above the eye. While AJ Styles was more like a kid running from a bully and the one minute matches were not that exciting.
Christian Cage interrupted the match to give Angle a chance at some real competition. And later in the show we see the eight man battle, Team Cage against Team Tomko.

COPYRIGHT WrestlersRamblings.com TNA Kurt Angle USED WITH PERMISSION of www.WrestleFanFest.comAlso in action was the TNA Knockout Champion Awesome Kong against ODB in a title match. ODB was doing well and looked like she had the upper hand at one point, but very few recover from an awesome bomb and that what it took to lay out ODB losing the match. She is a good challenge and will go further give her a few more and the title will be earned by her talent.
This one was Team Cage including Sting, Kevin Nash, and Rhino against Team Tomko which is AJ Styles,  and Brother Devon, Brother Ray(Team 3D). An all out brawl back and forth until Rhino was outnumbered and was not able to tag anyone in. Eventually he get Sting to come in and with a Rhino Spear and the Scorpion Deathlock on AJ Syles it was all over. A win for Team Cage. What we don’t see coming is a bottle shot from James Storm on Sting which lays him out and ends the show. This one was a great battle of the best a brawl for the TNA books.
