TNA Review “Deuces Wild… battle lines drawn”

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Shredder88Booker T makes an apology to Sting and so there will be no match between them instead it will be Booker T and Sting in a tag team match against Robert Roode and James Storm. With the TNA Tag Team Title vacant matches for the title will take place over the next two weeks to determine the first four teams. The deuces wild tag team qualifying match starts with Rellik and Black Reign against Team 3D in the first bout tonight. The tournament will have four teams from the qualifying matches and four teams that are random where the teams will be a wild card style.
Team 3D is looking like they were out of  sync last week and this week is no different in this match up, if they don’t pull things together they will not go any further. This altercation would be worth seeing but, I would say that is will be at least one more week before we see this one on the Impact Zone. After a Choke Slam from Brother Ray gets only a two count Team 3D gets the win with the 3D so they advance in the tag team tournament.

COPYRIGHT WrestlersRamblings.com Used with permission of WrestleFanFest.com TNA wrestler Brother RayThe second qualifying match will be the Instant Classic Christian Cage and the War Machine Rhino taking on the Motor City Machine Guns, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. A very fast moving match both teams are evenly matched. Sabin goes over the top and hits both Cage and Rhino outside the ring. After several near falls this one is tough to call when Rhino hits his patented move the Gore and it all over Cage gets the pin and they advance in this tournament.
The knockout challenge will be all the Knockouts Division in a over the top battle until there are two left and the one who climbs the ladder will get a contract to face the current Knockout Champion Awesome Kong for the title at the upcoming pay per view Sacrifice. The loser will be given a Britney Spears makeover and have their head shaved.

COPYRIGHT WrestlersRamblings.com WWE King Booker ALL RIGHTS RESERVED Next is a tag team match Booker T and Sting against James Storm and Robert Roode. Both teams working together and this one could go either way. Sting and Booker seem to be on the same page but, will they keep it together or will this be just the beginning. Sting hits the DDT on Roode and Sting and Booker T get the win. During the match Roode reacts to James Storm attempt to use the beer bottle and almost hits Roode. In the end they begin to throw blows and it looks like these two may go head to head as the heat continues.
Next up is Kurt Angle and the TNA Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe for the title a pay per view worthy match on the Impact Zone. Who will get the win and go onto Sacrfice to face Scott Steiner? Advantage is on Samoa Joe’s side as Kurt Angle is distracted by his wife Karen Angle and AJ Styles so this will show show who really has the real focus.

COPYRIGHT WrestlersRamblings.com TNA Kurt Angle USED WITH PERMISSION of www.WrestleFanFest.com A Suicide dive from Samoa Joe and it could be all over for Kurt Angle as the agility of Joe is overpwering Angle. Angle gets the upper hand and sends Joe over the rope and Joe lands hard on his left knee and even though I hate to see it the outcome will likely be a DQ and Samoa Joe keeps the title but, may not be 100% going into Sacrifice against Scott Steiner. Kurt Angle gets Joe in the figure four leglock and in a struggle he gets to the rope to break the hold. After Scott Steiner hits Kurt Angle with a steel pipe Joe gets the win. And when Scott gets in the ring he says “its all about respect’ and that sets up Jim Cornette’s change for the upcoming bout at Sacrifice now it will be all three men in a three way Scott Steiner verses Kurt Angle verses Samoa Joe for the TNA Heavyweight Championship.
And thats all this fan has to say…Shredder88…I’m out

TNA Review: Cross the Line…To Be Defeated

Friday, April 18th, 2008

Shredder88This is the aftermatch of Lockdown they crown a new Champion as Samoa Joe becomes the new TNA Heavyweight Champion. Team Cage defeats Team Tomko in the eight man cage match. Roxxi Leveaux is now the number one contender for the Knockout Championship. Tonight all the titles will be defended including the X Division and the Tag Team Championship. Petey Williams is on the edge of becoming a Steiner accomplish with a title shot for the X Division he will try to capialize against the current champion Black Machismo Jay Lethal.
Who will reign as champion this week and will we have anyone take over the titles. I think they are seting things to see LAX as champions and then Tomko and AJ Styles will start a fued with Matt Morgan or someone on the roster.

COPYRIGHT WrestlersRamblings.com TNA Kurt Angle USED WITH PERMISSION of www.WrestleFanFest.comKurt Angle wants his rematch and will have it next week on Thursdays Night Impact. P:ersonally I think they setting the scene for a rival between Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe and that would be phonomenal to say the least…..Here is the rundown of tonights show…After the match between Black Machismo and Johnny Devine Petey Williams comes in with the briefcase for the title shot and beats Jay Lethal and he demands a title shot and with his Canadian Destoyer its all over. We have a new X Division Petey Williams even though he did a WWE edge way to get it he is the Champion now.
Matt Morgan makes is known he ready to take the next step and begin his career in the ring. I see him making a major impact in the near future I think they should try to make a giant tag team wtih Kevin Nash and Matt Morgan and maybe a similar run like the NWO one of old times. Either way he is going to be around and will make a difference this why I believe that TNA is taking a shot at the competition a better product and better stars.

king-booker.jpgNext the TNA Tag Title is on the line against LAX and Kaz and Eric Young this one is too easy as it goes. Eric Young and Kaz win this one and become the new champions. Eric Young comes out as Super Eric and gets the pin with the Super plex is actaully the Perfect Flex originally done by Mr. Perfect Curt Henning, old is new again. They may have won the Tag Team Championship but this will be a short one for them as LAX has earned it more than Super Eric and Kaz. I look forward to this on as it plays out. Tomko will likely try to get a chance at the Heavyweight Title.Team 3D Brother Ray and Brother Devon have a grudge match against Rhino and Christian Cage back as a tag team. Rhino hits the Gore on Cage by accident and then is able to pin Brother Devon after Ray distracted him. The end of match Team 3D has a breakdown and we see both men lose it as they begin to fight over what just happened.
Either way you see it strange things happen when it comes to the situation of Eric Young and Super Eric and so now they had the titles for less then an hour as they are stripped of the titles because of identity. So it looks like that next week a announcement will be made about who will be in match for this title. The Knockout Division Title is defended tonight between Roxxi Laveaux and the reigning Champion Awesome Kong, this was given after her win at Lockdown.A match that was short and sweet with Awesome Kong keeping the title. The last match of the night is a six man tag team match between on side Booker T, Sting, and BG James against Cowboy James Storm, Kip James and Robert Roode. A bottle of beer and Matt Morgan is why Booker T gets the win without outside interference at least from a beer bottle anyway. So now we will see Booker T and Sting battle next week. That match should be a good one.

Watch Your Back.. April 3, 2008 TNA Impact

Friday, April 4th, 2008

Shredder88TNA has been trying to produce a better product and from what I have seen including this week they are. This week we see in action The Icon Sting against Cowboy James Storm as well as the current TNA Tag Champions Tomko and AJ Styles. Some highlights include a grudge match between Traci Brooks and Payton Banks. An X Division X-Scape qualifying match for the fourth member at Lockdown. Big Pappy Pump makes his announcement about his title shot against the winner of the Lockdown match between Samoa Joe and current TNA Champion Kurt Angle.
Here is the outcome of Thursdays broadcast.
Tomko and AJ Styles against Rhino and Christian Cage because of a missed tag from Cage to Rhino and a Gore to the ref. The Tag Team champions win by DQ.

An 8 Man tag team match featuring the Rock n Roll Infection, Black Reign and Rellik on one side and the Motor City Machine Guns and LAX on the other side. I have to say that this was one the best of the night. Both teams showed great work and tag action working together. LAX and the Motor City Machine Guns get the pin and the win.
After the match both Rellik and Black Reign attack LAX and thats when Kaz and  Super Eric appears (the alter ego of Eric Young). A double drop kick and its all over.
Elix Skipper and Shark Boy are in a qualifying match for the X Scape match to decides who will be the fourth person in the Match at Lockdown. Shark Boy gets the win and moves on. Shark Boy gets the win but, was not on his game in this one.
The Payton Banks and Traci Brooks match was a good one as they both have such bad blood and with Traci Banks getting the win that sets up the other Knockouts to the ring in an all out every women for herself battle.

COPYRIGHT WrestlersRamblings.com Used with permission of WrestleFanFest.com TNA wrestler Brother RaySharmell then enters to clean house with the strap.
In the Main Event its Sting and Cowboy James Storm in a revenge match where you can tell that Sting is back and better then ever. He looks very strong in this one and takes out all his frustration on Storm the match is taken to the crowd, down the entrance ramp, and even around the announcers table. Guest referee is Matt Morgan who earlier let team Tomko have a fifth member that of James Storm. The match was being called down the middle when Storm grabbed Stings bat and then Matt takes it from him and throws to Sting on accident. Later we find out that Matt Morgan is a member of Team Cage and helps Sting intentional.
A night of chaos and destruction as only TNA can deliver.
This has been Shredder88 …just remember TNA Rocks…I’m out.
