The Miz and John Morrison (champs) vs. Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney
I had been waiting all week to see my favorite ECW original compete for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Tommy and Colin make a pretty good team even, if Colin isn’t much of a superstar right now. The Miz and Morrison were in control most of this match. The Miz and Morrison did a double gut buster on Dreamer and then to our surprise Colin got a steel chair from the outside. Colin hit both the tag champs. This caused a D-Q. Dreamer didn’t seem to care much. It looks like Colin is taking it to the Extreme.
Winners: The Miz and John Morrison

Shelton Benjamin vs. Stevie Richards
Well it looks like Richards’s push is over. Benjamin and Richards worked well for the time they had. This was not a one sided affair. The ending saw Benjamin hitting the inverted bulldog after Richards attempted a tornado ddt.

Kofi Kingston is in the back with Kelly Kelly. Kelly and Kofi were looking at the Playboy cover Maria is on the cover on. Kofi was flirting with Kelly telling her that she could do the cover of Playboy as well. Kelly is flattered. Kofi leaves and Layla gets in Kelly’s face. Layla accused Kelly of being jealous because Playboy asked her to do the cover and Kelly called her a liar. Layla slapped Kelly leading into a furious CATFIGHT! CATFIGHT! CATFIGHT! Referees and Kofi held the ladies back.
Kane vs. James Curtis (jobber)
Kane destroys him in about 30 seconds using the chokeslam to end it. During the match, Chuck Palumbo, on his motorcycle, circled the ring to distract Kane. They have a upcoming match on Smackdown.

Punk had a backstage interview. One of the best I have seen from Punk in his ECW career. Punk said that Chavo calls himself a warrior. Punk saw only one warrior named Guerrero and it wasn’t Chavo and he called Chavo a coward.
ECW Title Match
Chavo Guerrero (champ) vs. CM Punk
This was great match. I would say this has to be both these two best match against each other. Punk showed a lot of heart. There was a very scary moment with Punk going for his springboard closeline and Chavo pushed him off, getting one of his legs stuck on the top rope falling on his shoulder on the outside. Then Punk went for a suicide dive and fell right on his head. Punk is lucky he didn’t get injured. This was a very technical match. The end was similar to the No Way Out finish. Punk and Chavo fought up on the top rope. Chavo suplexed Punk to the top rope groin first. Chavo hit the frog slash on Punk.
Winner: Chavo Guerrero

Final Thought: I thought this was a very good show. The main event was 15 minutes long and it was a very good title match. I can’t wait for next week when Dreamer and Delaney battle the WWE Tag Team Champions in a Extreme Rules match
