ECW Review: Triple Threat; WWE Tag Titles
ECW is in Tucsan, AZ. The Main Event tonight is a Triple Threat Match for a ECW Title match next week. It will be Elijah Burke vs. CM Punk vs. Shelton Benjamin.
Santino Marella and Layla vs. Kelly Kelly and Kofi Kingston
I don’t know about you guys but I find Santino hilarious. Maybe it’s because I am Italian myself. This match was a lot better then I thought it would be. Kofi and Kelly hit a nice double dropkick on Santino. Kelly is improving in her ability’s hitting a crossbody from the top. The ending saw Kelly tell Layla to “Kiss my ass!” (Where and when) and hitting the Fame Asser.
Winner: Kelly Kelly and Kofi Kingston
Rating: 2 ½ stars out of 4
Mike Knox vs. Stevie Richards
Knox dominated this match. Knox targeted the throat of the ECW original throughout the match hitting leg drops and chokes on Richards. The ending saw Knox running into the turnbuckle and receiving a well-placed kick into a Stevie T.
Winner: Stevie Richards
Rating: 1 ½ stars out of 4
There was a promo between Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney. Dreamer was encouraging Colin to fight with heart and he would one day become champion. Colin asked Dreamer that the day he becomes champion if he would get his own theme song.
Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney vs. John Morrison and The Miz Non-title
Colin showed up to take an ass whopping by WWE Tag Team Champions although Colin showed that he has at least two moves in his move set showing an impressive dropkick. Tommy got the hot tag and erupted on The Miz and Morrison. The Miz collided with Colin give Dreamer the opportunity to hit the DDT to The Miz for the upset.
Winner: Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney (first victory)
Rating: Rating: 2 ½ stars out of 4
Back from commercial, The Miz and Morrison are arguing of who lost the match. Lena Yada interrupted them and asked if the rumor is true that they now have to face the superstars then just lost to in a WWE Tag Team Title Match next week. Morrison answered that he hopes the rumor is true.
Triple Threat Elijah Burke vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. CM Punk
Chavo Guerrero was at the announcement table. Chavo wanted to face Elijah Burke. This was a very good match. These three work very well together. There was competition in this match that I haven’t seen in a very long time in an ECW match. Each one of these superstars tried to one up each other. The ending saw Shelton elbowing Elijah causing Benjamin to fall off the apron and Elijah getting caught in the GTS.
After match, Chavo came in and held the ECW Title in Punk’s face.
Winner: CM Punk

I give this show 3 stars out of 4. This show was very good with all matches being exciting in there own way. I found it to be very entertaining. I am looking foreword to seeing the ECW Title match next week coming off this awesome Triple Threat Match and the very good match at No Way Out for CM Punk. Good Job ECW
