FLASH! Names-named in WWE pharmaceutical scandal!
According to a report in the New York Daily News, the WWE pro wrestlers under suspicion of being suspended by World Wrestling Entertainment as a result of the Albany district attorney’s investigation into internet doping (as a result of their being linked to Signature Pharmacy as clients, following a raid by Albany County and Florida law enforcement agencies in February for distribution of steroids and other prescription drugs to various clients not examined by doctors) include: Randy Orton; Adam “Edge” Copeland; Robert “King Booker” Huffman; Charlie Haas; Shane “Gregory” Helms; ECW Champion John “Morrison” Hennigan; Darren “William Regal” Matthews; Ken “Mr. Kennedy” Anderson; Chavo Guerrero; Anthony”Santino Marella” Carelli; and Mike ”Simon Dean” Bucci. Meanwhile, two other names have surfaced according to a report read on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show on Sirius Radio’s Howard 101: Funaki and Chris Masters. ESPN is also reporting Dave Batista. Further, deceased pro wrestlers Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Brian “Crush” Adams were all similarly linked to the company. As of this time, the WWE has not officially named anyone to be suspended, and instead, have issued a statement informing the public that they will wait until Nov. 1 to release their list.
Get your scorecards out, kids. Let’s all figure out the suspended pro wrestlers, shall we? Then again, if Funaki is suspended and no one notices, is he really suspended at all?
