FLASH! Report: Hart Foundation 2.0 dead in water as Hart fired

WrestlersRamblings.com SCOOPSigh . . . oh, what might have been . . . In news that is especially depressing to a longtime Bret Hart fan, it looks as though the would-be new Hart Foundation 2.0 is now as-good-as gone, with news breaking that troubled Teddy Hart was axed from World Wrestling Entertainment earlier today. Hart, along with Harry Smith (son of the late British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith) along with Nattie Neidhart (daugher of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart) T.J. Wilson and Ted DiBiase Jr. all comprised the group in the WWE developmental territories in Florida and Ohio.

The group was set to debut next month, with talk of a Survivor Series attack on Shawn Michaels a strong rumor, with another report even having Uncle Bret come back to the WWE for the first time since the infamous Montreal screw-job (not counting his Hall of Fame induction, at which he refused to step foot inside a ring) to run a brief angle where he would introduce the group and give it his blessing. Alas, it looks all for not now, as the talented but enigmatic Hart looks to have run afoul of the WWE yet again, and in turn, ruined the chance for this Hart Foundation relaunch — especially given that he brought the name Hart to the outfit. While nothing has been confirmed yet by the WWE, it should be noted that Hart (at one time the youngest wrestler to ever earn a developmental contract with the WWE) was released from the company in the past for reported immaturity. His tenure this time around was looked at as possibly his last chance with the company. He was last seen on television as part of the short-lived Wrestling Society X on MTV.
