One of the last Chris Benoit updates?
The Edmonton Sun is reporting that Chris Benoit’s father has confirmed that the former WWE Superstar’s body has been cremated — although Michael Benoit (a resident of Edmonton) would not eleborate as to where the cremated remains will now rest. Michael Benoit also took the opportunity to correct an incorrect internet-based report (whaaa? The internet running an unsubstantiated rumor? Mr. Mal’s never hoid of such a thing) regarding Benoit’s organs being harvested for medical use. They weren’t. In fact, unfortunately, they weren’t even viable for donation, said Michael. He went on to say that his family is still coming to grips with everything that has transpired — and who can blame them? Having a son kill their wife, child and themselves is about as horrifically tragic as it comes for a father — but that the family does plan to speak to the public in greater detail in the future. ”We’re trying to cope. It’s a difficult time and we are trying to do our best,” he said.
