Word has it that D.H. Smith will be Ted Dibiase Jr.’s surprise partner for Night of Champions, giving credence to the rumor that the WWE is planning a stable of next generation superstars as a major heel faction. Here, here, says Mr. Mal. It appears someone in the golden towers of the WWE is finally getting a clue as to what gets over (and doesn’t include the initials HHH). Apparently, the vastly-underused (and very talented) Carlito would also be part of the group as well. News like this actual registers a blip with this bored-to-tears pro wrestling fan.
