TNA NEWS: Top heel returning for PPV? WWE Superstar signed?
Word has it that monster heel Judas Mesias — not seen on TNA television in weeks following a sciatic nerve injury coupled with a nasty bump taken in Mexico that rendered him unconscious — is advertised as appearing on AAA shows Oct. 18 and 20. If this is true, Mesias would no doubt be in fighting shape to appear at this Sunday’s TNA Bound for Glory PPV — which would be a huge relief to the company. Having built-up Mesias in a feud with Abyss, creative had to shift gears (quickly) when Mesias was no longer able to perform due to his ailments. Thus far, he has been booked brilliantly and all concerned with TNA would breathe a sigh of relief to get this rising heel back in the ring where he belongs, and just in time for Halloween no less. Adding further credence to this assumption is that Mesias has, in fact, been confirmed for the TNA Fan Fest in Atlanta this weekend. Here’s your official lineup for the big show:

In other TNA news, word has it that several wrestlers on their roster were delivered letters this week direct from management, informing them that — if they were uphappy with their current working relationship with Total Non-Stop Action — they could walk out the door and seek a better deal elsewhere. The move was done in an attempt to quell some of the whispering attributed to many of their talent being upset with financial payoffs, creative direction and the company overall. Thus far, no word if anyone has taken TNA up on the offer, but it removes any doubt that the company would stand in the way of someone so unhappy that it would affect their work.
Elsewhere, rumors are flying that the company is very eager to bring Joey Matthews (aka Joey Mercury, formerly of the WWE tag team MNM with Melina and Johnny Nitro - currently working as ECW’s John Morrison) into the fold. Mercury was released following reported repeated violation of the WWE Wellness Pplan a few months back. A talented but obviously troubled worker, nonetheless, Mr. Mal feels this would be a positive signing by TNA. Apparently, the signing is close enough that speculation is that Matthews may in fact appear at Bound for Glory.
Finally, many are under the impression that Pacman Jones will be done with TNA following Bound for Glory. Unable to actualy wrestler in-ring, Jones nonetheless has justified his high-salary in Mr. Mal’s eyes given the amount of mainstream exposure that the signing generated.
